Carl leads the Trust’s programme of policy-focused research. He has authored reports on subjects including student finance, unpaid internships, school admissions and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on learning.
He is also Co-Investigator on the COSMO (Covid Social Mobility and Opportunities) longitudinal cohort study.
He has been at the Trust since 2016, having previously worked in a variety of roles in social and political research, including NatCen and Democratic Audit.
